Candidates provide 4 patients.     

This program is all inclusive, there are no hidden costs. You will take quizzes plus a final written exam, produce X-ray surveys on manikins and 4 clinical patients provided by you. You learn modern  digital dental radiology as you earn your State Certification. Classes are limited to 6 students.

Program #1

The program length is a maximum of 4 days or 32 hours, commensurate to your ability.This program is for candidates already trained in Dental Intraoral Radiography and need to have all four patients brought to our clinic for radiographs.

X-Ray Challenge Candidates Must Read The Following:

Individuals must be already trained and familiar with intra oral dental radiography. Every candidate produces 4 FMX'S on 4 clinical patients provided by the candidate. Three patients are treated for FMX’s by the candidate at their present facility before the first day; your fourth patient is treated at O.C.D.C.  Notices signed by your supervising dentist to validate that the candidate produced these three (3) sets of radiographs are required. The actual 3 sets of X-Rays must be provided the first day of class. There are no refunds to those who do not pass this program. We withhold $175 for those who request a refund without a written request 14 days prior to the selected start date. Fax, attach to an email or physically mail the downloaded enrollment form along with your payment.

 Sunday February 19th

Classes begin at 8:30 am and finish by 5:00 pm and are held at one location, the Dental Office of George Eliades, D.D.S. and Orange County Dental Careers.

Consecutive days starting Sunday and finishing by Wednesday for the $675 four day program.

The Xray Challenge students begin on Sunday and finish Monday or Tuesday depending on the skill of the candidate and class size. 

  Patient Criteria
Clinical Patients must have at least one of the seven conditions listed below and be 12 years of age or older in order to expose and retain a complete radiographic series:

1. Extensive dental work

2. Generalized caries/ moderate to severe attrition

3. Generalized periodontitis

4. Future orthodontic treatment

5. Future fixed or removable prosthetic work

6. Generalized moderate to severe pain in the maxilla and/or mandible

7. Future orthognathic surgery
